This amazing and succulent slow cooked pulled pork recipe will leave your mouth watering and your heart begging for more! When it comes to slow cooked meats, there is little better than a delicious pulled pork. This unique recipe is a fantastic use of pulled pork that will be sure to make you the life of the next pot luck!
2 ½ lb Boneless Pork Shoulder Roast, Trimmed of excess fat and cut into 4-inch chunks
2 Tablespoons Chili Powder
1 Tablespoon Onion Salt
1 Tablespoon Garlic Salt
2 Tablespoons Paprika
Salt to Taste
15 Ounces Pinto Beans, Drained
28 Ounces Crushed Tomatoes, Undrained
1 Cup Chicken Broth
2 Green Chilies, Chopped
1 to 2 Serrano Chilies, Stemmed, Seeded, Finely Chopped
1 Bell Pepper, Chopped
3 Cloves Garlic, Crushed
1 Medium Onion, Chopped
Green Onions, Chopped
- Oil a 5 Quart pot with either Olive or Canola Oil. Place PORK in pot; sprinkle CHILI POWDER, ONION SALT, GARLIC SALT, PAPRIKA, and SALT over the top. Toss to coat. Add REMAINING INGREDIENTS to pot and stir to combine. Cover; cook on lowest heat for 8 to 9 hours or until pork is tender and easily pulled apart.
- Transfer pork to cutting board and shred, using 2 forks. Add shredded pork back into pot; stir to combine, and continue cooking about 15 minutes, or until hot.
- Serve in bowl with a small handful of green unions tossed on top to garnish.
